At Smith Rock K9 LLC, we have distinct policies tailored for both future reservations and last-minute bookings. Our approach to last-minute bookings acknowledges the unpredictability of travel and allows a brief grace period for adjustments without financial penalty.
Boarding
A 50% deposit upon registration ensures that we can adequately prepare for your pet's stay or training. This includes reserving space, allocating resources, and scheduling necessary staff.
Flexibility for Short Stays: For stays of 1-2 nights, we require a cancellation notice at least 1 week (7 days) before the start date, after which time payment is non-refundable. This policy balances client flexibility with efficient service management.
Reserving a Longer Stay: Stays of 3 nights or more require a longer notice period of at least 2 weeks (14 days) before the start date, after which time payment is non-refundable. This extended notice period allows us to secure accommodations and plan tailored care routines, crucial during peak holiday seasons.
Last Minute Bookings: For last-minute bookings made within 1 week of the start date, a 50% deposit is due upon signing up. We offer a 48-hour free cancellation period, after which time payment is non-refundable.
Training Programs
Commitment to Training Excellence: Our Board and Train & Day Training programs require a 50% deposit to confirm your commitment. Providing notice at least 3 weeks (21 days) before the start date allows us to organize schedules, procure equipment, and assign trainers effectively. Failure to cancel on time or attend the training session results in forfeiture of the deposit.
Last Minute Bookings: If you register for Board and Train with a start date within 21 days, a 50% deposit is due upon signing up. Free cancellation is available for 48 hours, after which time payment is non-refundable.
Pack Hikes, Training Walks, Private Training
Booking and Cancellation Terms: These hourly programs are booked in 5-week increments. Reservations more than 30 days in advance require a 50% deposit. To cancel the package in full, we require at least 2 weeks (14 days) notice, after which the 50% deposit is forfeited.
Last Minute Bookings: For packages booked within 21 days of the start date, a 50% deposit is due upon signing up. Free cancellation is available for 48 hours, after which time payment is non-refundable. Once the service begins, with at least 6 days' notice, you can roll the service over to the following week, but no further into the future than 1 week. Cancellations within 5 days of the service result in forfeiting the full fee for that week, ensuring fair allocation of services to all clients.
